THE 2008 VICE PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE
Sen. Joe Biden from Delaware and Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska, the vice presidential nominees of the Democratic and Republican parties, respectively, will debate each other at 8 p.m. (CDT) Oct. 2 in the Washington University in St. Louis Athletic Complex, according to the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD).

MCCAIN WAS A POW
I came across an article in the Washington Post by Fareed Zakaria. It was an op/ed about how poorly Palin is handling interviews and how she is not ready to be the VP. The article was really nothing new, but I always enjoy the comments. Below are some that I considered especially thought provoking. What are your thoughts?
Earlier, I posted the entire Palin RNC speech with the hopes that some of you would attack it, and others of you would defend it, and somewhere in the middle, some type of agreement would be met (or at least just a good deal of activity in the comments). We are now well past both that post, and the RNC, and not so much has been said here about the speech. Oh well…

I have, despite my own better judgment, decided to post the entire text of Gov. Sarah Palin (Republican Candidate for Vice President, in case you weren’t paying attention) speech at the RNC. This question really isn’t that hard; Anything the President says. Okay, maybe not the best answer, but I’m not trying to be the Veep. I can tell you what an Army supply officer does. I can tell you what a Battalion Commander does.
