GOV. Sarah Palin:

Ultimately,
What the bailout does
Is help those who are concerned
About the health care reform
That is needed
To help shore up our economy,
Helping the?
It’s got to be all about job creation, too.

Shoring up our economy
And putting it back on the right track.
So health care reform
And reducing taxes
And reining in spending
Has got to accompany tax reductions
And tax relief for Americans.
And trade.

We’ve got to see trade
As opportunity
Not as a competitive, scary thing.
But one in five jobs
Being created in the trade sector today,
We’ve got to look at that
As more opportunity.
All those things.

Palin the perfect pick…

I came across an article in the Washington Post by Fareed Zakaria. It was an op/ed about how poorly Palin is handling interviews and how she is not ready to be the VP. The article was really nothing new, but I always enjoy the comments. Below are some that I considered especially thought provoking. What are your thoughts?

More on what she said…

Earlier, I posted the entire Palin RNC speech with the hopes that some of you would attack it, and others of you would defend it, and somewhere in the middle, some type of agreement would be met (or at least just a good deal of activity in the comments). We are now well past both that post, and the RNC, and not so much has been said here about the speech. Oh well…

I came across this post on another blog.  I think its worth a read. My applause to the poster.

Enjoy.

What did she say?

I have, despite my own better judgment, decided to post the entire text of Gov. Sarah Palin (Republican Candidate for Vice President, in case you weren’t paying attention) speech at the RNC. This is a warning. If you have just eaten, come back later. You have been warned. Also, please hang in there long enough to get to what I (and others) have to say at the bottom. I will try to make it worth your while. Okay, hold on…
